Open Up to God’s Love
This evening, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, accompanied by his wife Mata Rita Ji, arrived in the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands for a 3-day program. The spiritual Master was warmly welcomed by visitors from Europe and other parts of the world at the Maaspoort Den Bosch Sports Arena in the city’s center. In his welcome address, he reminded us of the need to open our hearts, hands, and souls to God to experience God’s love and fulfill life’s supreme purpose.
Expounding on a verse selected from the recently published book Abode of Light, penned initially in Urdu by Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj in 1969, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji described the gains we receive from a saint or spiritual Master. When the saints come into the world, their primary role is to have us experience the love and Light of God within each of us. While we may follow different faiths and religions, all of which can guide us toward God, we tend to focus only on the rites and rituals of our faiths, forgetting the esoteric or deeper side.
Saints focus on the esoteric path or the inner path to God. By connecting us with the Light of God through meditation, they help us experience God’s love. With this awakening comes a yearning to find our way back to our original Source. Through the grace and love of a saint, our life is transformed, and we take steps to trace our journey Home.
